An employee from one of New Jersey’s top landscape design firms received a certificate from Rutgers University for his knowledge and expertise in natural turf and landscape management.
Bob Malgieri, the tree and shrub care manager for Borst Landscape & Design, recently received the Certificate of Accomplishment in Natural Turf and Landscape Management from Rutgers University, which only a select few in the state receive.
Customers are demanding a greener option when it comes to landscaping. Borst Landscape & Design has been an advocate of organic landscaping, and Bob’s certificate highlight’s Borst’s core values of a greener approach.
Malgieri attended several different Rutgers University continuing education courses in order to receive this certification. The courses were taken over a three-month period and were entitled “Organic Pest Management and Landscape Turf,” “Reducing Pesticide Impacts and Exploring Organic Options for Sports Turf” and “Integrated Pest Management.”
