Montvale Family Receives a Magical Backyard Landscape

Borst Landscape & Design created this backyard retreat for a Montvale family. It blends the amenities of a resort with the functionality of a living space. Whether it be for entertaining friends and family or relaxing after work, this landscape is the perfect mix of calming and fun.

 

m-logoWhen the homeowners of this Montvale home envisioned building an outdoor space for relaxing and entertaining, they probably never dreamed it would win two design awards for Borst Landscape & Design.
The project, which spanned a full year, earned Borst a national award of merit from PLANET and an award of distinction from the New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association.
Borst designed a freeform pool and six-jetted adjoining spa to be the backyard focal point. Tucked at one end is a fairytale pool house flanked by pink hydrangeas and four Adirondack chairs. To create “a colorful private outdoor room,” Borst opted for plantings that would not only create a lush outdoor space but also enhance privacy. Mature evergreens along the property lines work to screen views into the backyard. Utilizing the latest technology and the most experienced designers, Borst offers customers the entire spectrum from classical designs to avant-garde installations.
