Your responsibilities could include…

  • Supervise and lead a small crew of 2-3 and participate in all job functions
  • Install hardscapes, like pavers, patios, fire pits and outside kitchens
  • Knowledgeable about machines, stone, and safe material handling, tracking and routing compliance
  • Assuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards
  • Assuring that our customers receive an exceptional Borst experience
  • Training and mentoring the staff assigned to complete landscape projects at commercial and residential properties
  • Communicate with client about work orders/job details
  • Meet time, quality and performance goals

Other Requirements:

  • NJ driver’s license required

Tree & Shrub Care Technician

As a technician, you will be responsible for providing essential care to residential and commercial properties, ensuring the health and attractiveness of ornamental trees and shrubs. This role requires adherence to safety guidelines and regulations, and offers opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Provide fertilizer and pesticide services to maintain the health and attractiveness of ornamental trees and shrubs.
  • Perform service calls to diagnose and correct issues on customer properties.
  • Interact with customers, addressing their concerns and requests in a friendly manner.
  • Provide guidance on lawn care practices and offer recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including tasks completed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
  • Drive a company vehicle to and from customer locations, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment, handling chemicals, or performing physical tasks.
  • Perform routine inspections and report any equipment issues or requirements for replacement.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions and be available for overtime and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in tree and shrub care.

Landscape Account Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business needs
  • Collaborate with sales team to reach prospective clients
  • Utilize Salesforce to track customer interactions, sales, and account activity

Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales and account management

Looking for an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large fleets of vehicles and equipment, ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a large fleet of vehicles and equipment
  • Ensure that all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained, serviced, and repaired
  • Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures
  • Monitor and control fleet operating costs
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, maintenance, and repairs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Responsibilities/Duties: Mulching, installing plants/trees/shrubs/flowers, hardscape and masonry installation, moving debris, laying sod, weekly maintenance
  • Other Requirements: Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred but not necessary. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and learn to operate small equipment necessary to perform job duties.

Responsibilities:

Safe Transportation: Operate and drive Class A trucks to safely transport landscape construction equipment and materials to designated job sites.

Equipment Loading/Unloading: Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of landscape construction equipment and materials, following safety protocols and industry standards.

Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the Class A vehicle, ensuring it is in optimal condition for safe operation. Report any mechanical issues or damages promptly to the maintenance team.

Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including logbooks, maintenance reports, and delivery documents, accurately and on time.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a strong safety record.

Communication: Communicate effectively with the dispatch team, project managers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure efficient operations.

Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and job site personnel, providing exceptional customer service and representing the company positively.

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL License: Possess a valid Class A CDL license with an outstanding driving record.

Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL driver, with a focus on transporting landscape construction equipment and materials.

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading equipment and working in various weather conditions.
