Yields: about 3-1/2 cups

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen dark sweet cherries, pitted and finely chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons Siracha Sauce (or to taste for the spiciness desired)
